Rules

§1 Validity of these rules

  1. The following rules apply to all components of the craftermc.net network including our Discord server.
  2. Following parts of the craftermc.net network have additional rules:
    1. • Discord
    2. • Minecraft
    3.  • Citybuild
    4.  • Factions
  3. By using any of our services, the user accepts these rules as well as all additional rules for all components and commits themselves to follow them.
  4. We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time. Such changes will be published in the #anouncements channel of our Discord server. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the user to stay informed about the current rules.
  5. Ignorance is never an excuse for violating the rules.

§2 General

  1. Actions with the intent to take away fun from other users or to harm the user experience are forbidden.
  2. The malicious obstruction of other users in any form is forbidden.
  3. You must always follow staff members' instructions.
  4. Bypassing any punishment, for example by using another account, is prohibited.
  5. The refund of items can generally not be granted.
  6. Abusing bugs is forbidden. Should a bug be discovered, it must be reported here. The abuse of bugs which are outside of our range of influence is also forbidden. If there is any computer manipulation involved, we reserve the right to take legal action.
  7. The optimization of statistics through unfair means (boosting) as well as the involvement in such activities is forbidden.

§3 Punishments

  1. Punishments are generally only imposed with appropriate severity and with appropriate justification.
  2. For certain components of the craftermc.net network, the user can submit a one-time application for a reversal of the punishment. This can only be done if there is sufficient evidence and a temporary sentence.
  3. Possible punishments are:
    1. • Temporary or permanent ban from certain or all components of the craftermc.net network or Discord
    2. • Deletion of user data
    3. • Temporary chat mute

§4 Sharing of content

  1. The following guidelines relate to sharing and distributing messages and electronic works with third parties in public and conditionally public channels, including communication between users and the use of profile pictures.
  2. Deceptive, offensive, and insulting content, as well as sexual innuendos and content that impersonates a third party, are prohibited. This rule applies especially to usernames, clan names, and clan tags, as well as skins and profile pictures.
  3. Content must be shared using appropriate form and formatting, which includes the use of smileys, punctuation, and signatures.
  4. Searching for and offering services, such as staff memberships at Minecraft networks, Discord servers or other external services, is not allowed.
  5. Advertising in any form, including advertisements for Minecraft/Discord servers and social media profiles, is not allowed.
  6. Content that promotes improper use, such as the distribution of forbidden client modifications, private user data, or login information, is not allowed.
  7. Sharing content that promotes the raffle or trade of tangible or intangible goods, such as in-game currencies, with real money or goods of real value is not allowed.
  8. Scamming and phishing are not allowed. This includes intentionally deceiving others with the intent of benefiting oneself or a third party. Exception: Scamming of items or ingame currencies is allowed on Factions but at your own risk ;-).
  9. Sharing deceptive or manipulative links, including screamers, is not allowed.
  10. Content protected by copyright can only be published with the explicit consent of the copyright owner.
  11. Users must treat others politely and respectfully, and conflicts must be resolved in a down-to-earth manner.
  12. Inappropriate behaviour, such as insults, disrespectful or provocative statements, and threats, is not allowed in speech and writing, regardless of whether the statements were meant to be taken seriously.
  13. Sharing extremist views in any form is prohibited.
  14. Excessive use of upper-case letters (caps) should be avoided, and spamming, or the repeated expression of the same or similar phrases within a short time period, is not allowed.
  15. Abusing support services is not allowed, and sarcastic remarks must be marked as such to avoid misunderstandings.
  16. Political ideologies, worldviews, and any deceptive or harmful content, such as conspiracy theories, are forbidden on any of our channels.

§5 Modifications, VPN

  1. The use of automated functions (bots) is forbidden.
  2. The use of modifications, both within the client or external ones, which grant the user an advantage is forbidden. Please refer to the rules of Citybuild and Factions for justification.
  3. The craftermc.net team does not provide support for issues that arise due to the use of modifications. It is irrelevant whether these modifications comply with our rules or not.
  4. Any modifications that affect the connection to our servers (e.g. VPN, proxy servers, anonymization networks) are not supported. We do not provide support for issues that arise because of the use of such modifications.

Non-compliance will be punished with a ban or mute! This affects both the Minecraft and Discord servers.

§6 Discord

  1. This is an addition to the general rules.
  2. Inappropriate names/nicknames are forbidden.
  3. Pretending to be another user, teammember or celebrity is not allowed.
  4. Any type of advertising is forbidden

§7 Citybuild
